Difference between dry dial water meter and wet dial water meter The biggest difference between dry water meter and wet water meter is the measurement mechanism. The impeller is separated from the central gear, and the upper end of the impeller is composed of magnetic elements "magnetic ring or columnar steel" and the magnetic components at the lower end of the sun gear. When the impeller is rotated, the magnetic element at the upper end of the impeller is sucked or repelled by the magnetic element at the lower end of the sun gear, and the central gear is driven to rotate synchronously, and the water flow through the water meter is recorded by the center drive counter. As mentioned above, the measuring mechanism of the dry water meter is different from that of the wet water meter.
